F.W.'s soul-piercing letter to A.E. (from Jane Austen's Persuasion) is now available on 'stationery' from the White Hart.
The text is hand-set in Spectrum italic with the roman for display and a touch of Cancellaresca Bastarda for initials. Letterpress printed in four colours on ivory Magnani Revere Book Suede using a Chandler and Price Old Style jobbing press. One postage stamp engraving by Jarrett Morrison. Measures six and one-half inches by ten and one-half inches (165 x 267mm); deckle edge along the foot.
Envelope constructed from indigo Canson Mi-Teintes and die-stamped in gold foil in Bickham Script.

For the first letterpress printed book, something fun was in order. And what better amusement than a trivial comedy for serious people. This edition follows the text from the three-act version first produced at St James’s Theatre in London in 1895.
Hand set in Bembo roman, with stage directions composed in Fairbank italic by the Bixler letterfoundry. Printed on Somerset Book Soft White Wove. Quarter bound in burgundy velour with pattern-printed covers and Bugra endsheets. Ten engravings by Jarrett Morrison, including one 4 by 6, six 3 by 4, and three 2 by 2.
