Status Update: Tarnished Fingers

I'll skip today's apology for absentee blogging. We are preparing for the birth of our second child and it is a Wayzgoose year again here in Vancouver (22 October @ the Vancouver Public Library, Central Branch). So naturally, I'm mildly frantic.

That said, my fingers are tarnished again from setting Fairbanks for Mr Darcy's Letter, the next Jane Austen piece in our run up to tackling Pride and Prejudice in three volumes. Darcy will be printed as a letter, 5pp, on ivory Magnani Revere Book Suede and enveloped in St Armand Canal paper, 200 150 copies, $25  $35 CAD. I hope to have this one out in a few weeks.

All deluxe copies of Swift's A Modest Proposal have been reserved. There are currently 65 standard copies up for grabs.

Lastly, I am restoring the first broadside printed by The Bowler Press, Chesterton Cheese, to the website. Only 32 copies were printed. The illustration is based on a photograph of G.K. Printed on Arches Cover, enveloped in Canson Mi-Teintes in one of four colours, 3"x 3" engraving by Jarrett Morrison. $35 CAD.
